Effective Philanthropic Responses to a More Authoritarian Era

This study by Democracy Funders Network is a follow-up to DFN’s November 2024 report, Democracy Funders Network Safe & Effective Project: Recommendations for Funders , written by Peter Teague, and it explores the posture philanthropists must take to make a difference for democracy, advising funders to be prepared, flexible and strategic in the face of the growing authoritarian threat to civil society.
